These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SRE App mobile application and related services (the “Service”), provided by MUGNOS-IT CAPACITACAO E CONSULTORIA LTDA (“Mugnos-IT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company established in Brazil (CNPJ 59.977.699/0001-97, São Paulo, Brazil).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required by the laws of your country) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. The Service
The SRE App is an educational platform for learning Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). It offers lessons, quizzes, articles, community event information, and an experience-points (XP) progression system. Lesson content is curated by the Mugnos-IT team. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Accounts
- You can register with an email and password or via Google Sign-In.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- Notify us promptly at contato@mugnos-it.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law;
- Use automated means to access the Service or to scrape content except as we expressly permit;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
5. Intellectual property
The Service and its content — including lessons, text, graphics, logos, the “SRE App” and “MUG IT” names and branding, and software — are owned by Mugnos-IT or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content without our prior written permission.
Third-party trademarks and content referenced in lessons or articles remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Experience points (XP) and gamification
XP, levels, streaks, and similar features are part of the learning experience. They have no monetary value, are not transferable or redeemable for cash or goods, and may be changed, recalculated, or reset at our discretion (for example, to fix errors or rebalance the system).
7. Third-party content and links
The Service may link to or display third-party content (for example, articles from mugnos-it.com or external videos). We are not responsible for third-party content, websites, or services, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service and its educational content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Educational content is for general learning purposes and does not constitute professional advice. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Nothing in this section limits warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor) where it applies.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mugnos-IT and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice (e.g., in the app or by updating the “Last updated” date). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of São Paulo/SP, Brazil, except where mandatory consumer-protection law entitles you to bring proceedings in your place of residence.
